This horse is a pocket rocket; bouncy and fast. Extremely careful with a big jump. Purchased by Sophie as a 3 year old in 2009. Elmo's body is compact, muscular, and flexible. Elmo has a lot of potential as a speed horse with enough jump for some bigger tracks.
Elmo is by VDL Stud superstar, Emilion Keur, who carries the valuable blood of Nimmerdor, Lucky Boy XX, Farnese, Ladykiller XX, and Cottage Son XX. This crossed over the versatility of Voltaire II (also Nimmerdor blood), and the well acclaimed New Zealand thoroughbred, In the Purple XX, has resulted in a refined but strong type. The dam, Vibrant SL, jumped to 1.40m level before injury forced her retirement.
